LADAKH LOK SABHA CONSTITUENCY | BJP leaders Kiren Rijiju,Tarun Chugh arrive in Leh

Kargil, Apr 29: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh arrived in Leh today.

They were welcomed by party workers led by Lok Sabha nominated candidate for Ladakh Tashi Gyalson.

Sources said the visit comes amid the elections are coming closer. The BJP leaders would strategise the party's poll campaign and other affairs. They said that the two senior leaders will also meet the sitting Member of Parliament Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal to persuade him after his differences with the party high command for dropping him. Namgyal expressed his resentment saying he would deliberate on the issue with his supporters before taking a call on his future action.

Ladakh Lok Sabha seat is going for polls on May 20. Only BJP has announced its candidate for Ladakh Lok Sabha seat while the Congress in alliance with National Conference who are part of I.N.D.I.A bloc are yet to announce its candidate.
