Ladakh admin orders transfers and postings of five JKAS officers
According to an order issued to Greater Kashmir, the transfers and postings / assignments of additional charges have been ordered with immediate effect

Ladakh, Oct 22: The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, by order of its Lieutenant Governor, ordered transfers and postings of five JKAS (Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service) officers "in the interest of administration", officials said on Wednesday.
According to an order issued to the Greater Kashmir, the following transfers and postings / assignments of additional charges are hereby ordered with immediate effect:

- Ms. Huma Khan, JKAS, Deputy Registrar Cooperative, Leh, who also holds the additional charge of Assistant Director, Handloom, Leh, shall also hold the additional charge of Superintendent, Handloom, Leh, in addition to her own duties.
- Sh. Sarwar Shahzad, JKAS, who was posted as Under Secretary in the Departments of Forest, Ecology & Environment; Rural Development & Panchayati Raj; and Science & Technology, vide Order No. 433-LA(GAD) of 2025 dated 18.09.2025; is posted as District Social Welfare Officer, Kargil. He shall also hold the additional charge of Deputy Registrar, Cooperatives, Kargil, in addition to his own duties.
- Sh. Atul Singh Mankotia, JKAS, Under Secretary, in the Department of Labour & Employment; Housing & Urban Development; Tourism & Culture; and Information & Public Relations, shall also hold the additional charge of Under Secretary in the Department of Science & Technology, in addition to his own duties.
- Sh. Sanjat Bhardwaj, JKAS, Under Secretary, in the Department of Information Technology and Social & Tribal Welfare Department, shall also hold the additional charge of Under Secretary in the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, in addition to his own duties.
- Sh. Anupam Bhardwaj, JKAS, Under Secretary in the Department of Home and Vigilance, shall also hold the additional charge of Under Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment, in addition to his own duties.
