Labour and Employment Deptt orders major reshuffle of officials

Srinagar, Aug 09: The Labour and Employment Department Friday ordered a reshuffle of its employees in which various Assistant Labour Commissioners and Assistant Directors Employment were transferred and posted to new positions across Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the order issued by the department, Ameel Khateeb, Assistant Labour Commissioner of Samba, has been transferred to Pulwama, where he will also take on the additional responsibility of Assistant Director Employment at the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC), Pulwama.

Adnan Tariq, Assistant Labour Commissioner Doda, has been posted to Srinagar, while Rekha Rani, Assistant Director Employment at DE&CC Reasi, has been transferred to the office of the Joint Director Employment in Jammu.

Renu Bala, Assistant Labour Commissioner in Reasi, has been transferred to the Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB), while Hafsa Qayoom, Assistant Labour Commissioner Pulwama has been transferred and posted as Assistant Labour Commissioner, Ganderbal.

In Kathua, Roopali Gandotra has been replaced by Piyusha Khajuria, who will also oversee the DE&CC in Kathua as Assistant Director Employment.

Nida Yousuf, Assistant Labour Commissioner at JKBOCWWB, has been transferred to Shopian with additional duties as Assistant Director Employment at DE&CC Shopian.

Annie Vaid, who was awaiting orders, has been appointed Assistant Labour Commissioner of Reasi, with additional charges at DE&CC Reasi.

Similarly, Rahil Amin, awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Assistant Labour Commissioner Baramulla, while Nehal Pandit has been posted to Doda with added responsibilities at DE&CC Doda.

Himani Jerath, who was also awaiting orders, has been posted as Assistant Labour Commissioner Samba.

Meanwhile, Shabnam Arif Mir, overseeing employment at DE&CC Kupwara, has been to Baramulla while Sulakshana Kumari Thakur has been transferred to the office of the Director Employment, J&K.

Naresh Kumar, Look after assistant director employment has been transferred from the office of Director Employment, J&K and posted as look after Assistant director employment to DE&CC Samba, and Arshid Qadir Bhat, Assistant Labour Commissioner in Kupwara has been transferred to DE&CC Kupwara.

Pradyot Gupta, currently in Rajouri, will continue to hold additional responsibilities at DE&CC Rajouri.
