KVK Pulwama organises Rural Credit Workshop at Wachi Zainapora

Shopian, Sep 2: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Shopian, in close coordination with the Agriculture and allied departments, organised a Rural Credit Workshop today at Wachi in block Zainapora, under the Jammu & Kashmir Comprehensive Integrated Project (JKCIP).

The programme was chaired by Chairperson District Development Council (DDC) Shopian, Bilqees Jan, while DDC Member Zainapora-II, Aijaz Ahmad Mir; DDC Member Hermain-II, Abdul Rashid Lone; Members from Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs), NGOs, over 100 progressive farmers, along with champion farmers, also attended the workshop.

Besides, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Shopian, Prof. Zaffar Afroz Badri; Chief Horticulture Officer, Muneer Ahmad and representatives from Sericulture, Fisheries, JKHPMC, scientists of the Kendra, officers and officials from allied sectors were also present.
