Kupwara Ball Badminton Championship to begin today

Srinagar, Mar 20: The District Kupwara Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, is gearing up to host the District Kupwara Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2023-24.

A statement said that this two-day tournament is part of the "My Youth My Pride" initiative undertaken by the J&K Sports Council to promote and develop sports at the grassroots level.

Sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, the championship will take place at the Govt. Boys High Secondary School in Handwara, Kupwara, from March 21 to March 22, 2024. Clubs, schools, institutions, and colleges are invited to send their entries via WhatsApp to 7006053791. No on-spot entries will be accepted.

All matches will be played according to the rules set by the Ball Badminton Federation of India. The draw will be conducted on March 21 at 11:00 am at the competition venue. This event will serve as a platform for selecting players to participate in the upcoming UT championship.
