Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police conducted multiple Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) in different areas of Kulgam, focusing on individuals accused of facilitating and funding terror activities at the behest of their relatives currently based across the border.

According to police, several relatives and overground workers linked to the J&K Nationals Operating from Pakistan/Pak-Occupied-Kashmir (JKNOP) have been booked under relevant provisions of law for their continued involvement in anti-national activities. The accused are believed to have been providing logistical assistance, circulating propaganda, and aiding recruitment efforts for terrorist outfits.
