Kulgam operation called off after terrorists manage to flee

Srinagar, Jan 4: The Kulgam operation was called off on Thursday morning after terrorists gave a slip to security forces.

“After a brief exchange of fire on Wednesday evening, there was a complete lull during the night,” Police said. “The operation was suspended throughout the night.”

Police said that on Thursday morning, searches were undertaken but no terrorist was found.

“The operation was called off,” it said.
