KU selects 6 startups for MeitY GENESIS EIR Cohort-2
The University of Kashmir (KU) selected six innovative startups for funding support under the MeitY GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) Cohort-2 programme, reinforcing its growing innovation ecosystem.
The selected startups include Net Gear, Vision Cosmos, Rawa Lab, Homeway, Vande IOT and Big Brick. Under the programme, founders will receive incubation support, expert mentorship, product development guidance, capacity-building workshops and access to networking and funding opportunities.
Vice Chancellor KU Prof. Nilofer Khan congratulated the innovators, saying the cohort reflects the talent, ambition and creative strength of the youth. Registrar KU Prof. Naseer Iqbal said the university aims to provide an enabling environment where innovators feel supported throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
Coordinator NewGen IEDC KU Dr. Irfana Rashid said the new cohort reflects KU’s strengthening innovation culture. The startups were selected from 135 applications after a rigorous evaluation process.
