Srinagar, Oct 16: The Kashmir Trade Alliance (KTA) has extended its congratulations to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his newly appointed cabinet ministers.

In a statement, KTA President Aijaz Shahdhar expressed optimism about the region's future under Abdullah's leadership, stating that they expect significant development in the Union Territory. Shahdhar highlighted the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah, noting, "We are optimistic that under Omar Sahab, J&K will develop in leaps and bounds." The KTA also welcomed the appointment of Nasir Sogami as Advisor to the Chief Minister, with Shahdhar expressing particular happiness over this selection.

The trade body assured the new government of its full support and pledged to assist in addressing issues faced by the business community. Shahdhar emphasised that the KTA is hopeful the new government will prioritise resolving the longstanding grievances of traders and work towards creating a conducive environment for economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir.
