KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

Srinagar, Sep 15: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out the work related to evacuation of power from GIS Harwan, shutdown of 33KV Habbak Burzuhama line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Burzhama shall remain off while power supply to Danihama, Khimber, Teilbal, Burzhama, Shoperbagh, Rahbagh, Gulabagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 16 September, 2025.

Also, to carry out the work of replacement of damaged auxiliary cable at Receiving Station GIS Batamaloo, shutdown of 33KV Exhibition line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at GIS Batamaloo shall remain off while power supply to Batamaloo, Moominabad and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM on 18 September, 2025.

Moreover as per a separate shutdown schedule issued here, in order to complete the left over work of stabilization of 33 KV Mattan-Pahalgam line which was halted due to SANJY-2025, shutdown of 33KV Mattan Pahalgam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Salia, Hutmurrah, Aishmuqam, Batkoot, Sallar, Pahalgam (AIS)  & Pahalgam (GIS) shall remain off while power supply to Pahalgam, Batkoot, Aishmuqam, Seer, Saller, Akad, Hutmurrah, Salia and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 18 & 20 September, 2025.
