KPDCL announces power shutdown

Srinagar, Jan 30: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Friday announced power shutdown in several areas of Kashmir division in coming days.

Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL informed that Shutdown of 33 KV Alusteng-Zakura line will be observed due to which power supply to Ahmad Nagar, Umerhair and adjoining areas will be affected from 11 AM to 02 PM on 31 January 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of Cheshmashahi-TRC-Nedous line will be observed due to which power supply to  Dal, Paras Hospital and 33 KV installations of Rajbagh Tapline will be affected from 10 AM to 03 PM on 01 February 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Ompora, Sheikhpora, Housing Colony, Mohanpora, NIFT and adjoining areas will be affected from 12 Noon to 03 PM on 31 January 2026.

Futher, shutdown of 33 KV Lassipora-Keegam line will be observed due to which power supply to Pakherpora, Rajpora, Rahmoo, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Akhal, Chararipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 09 AM to 03 PM on 01, 04, 07 & 10 February 2026.
