Kishtwar-Sinthan Top road reopens for traffic

Ramban, Dec 2: Kishtwar-Sinthan Top road, connecting Anantnag district to NH-244 via Sinthan Top pass, was reopened for traffic movement on Saturday.

Officials said that the traffic movement on Kishtwar-Anantnag National Highway-244 via Sinthan Pass was resumed. They said that the cut off timing to cross Parna Check post Chingam was 10 am to 3 pm.

“After improvement in weather, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) cleared the snow at Sinthan Top and made the road traffic worthy on Saturday,” they said.

Traffic movement on Kishtwar-Anantnag National Highway-244 via Sinthan Pass was suspended following snowfall in Sinthan Top areas on Thursday.
