Srinagar, Jul 17: United Elegant FC produced a dominant second-half performance to defeat New JK United FC 4-1 in the 8th match of the Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League 2025 at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground, with star striker Aakif Reshi netting a sensational hat-trick to seal the victory.

As per a statement issued on Thursday, the match kicked off with intense energy as both teams scored one goal each in the first half, showcasing exceptional talent and resilience.

However, the second half witnessed a dominant performance by United Elegant FC, led by the sensational Aakif Reshi, who scored a brilliant hat-trick, guiding his team to a resounding 4-1 victory. His performance not only turned the tide of the game but also earned him the Khyber Man of the Match award.

The Athwas Game Changer Award was presented to Shahnawaz Bashir for his dynamic presence and influence on the field. Monis Chaudhary received the Khyber Golden Moment Award for delivering a key moment that lifted the energy of the match. The Events Emporio x Factor Excellence Award went to Waris Amin for his standout all-round display.

The match was graced by SSP Srinagar Dr GV Sundeep, who joined the pre-match team handshake ceremony along with Nuzhat Gul (Secretary, J&K Sports Council), SP East Raja Zuhaib, SDPO Kothi Bagh Yasir Parray, and SHO Kothi Bagh Adil Rashid, further adding prestige to the event.
