KCCI thanks CM for approving J&K Tourism participation in OTM Mumbai
Srinagar, Jan 29: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today announced that, after comprehensive efforts, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has greenlit the participation of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Tourism and its stakeholders in the prestigious Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) taking place in Mumbai from January 30 to February 1, 2025, according to a statement.
KCCI expressed heartfelt gratitude to CM Abdullah for this timely decision, which is expected to significantly enhance the visibility of J&K’s tourism sector on a national stage. The approval marks a pivotal moment for local stakeholders keen on showcasing the region’s rich tourism offerings to a broader audience.
In a statement, the Chamber emphasised the pivotal role played by the Chief Minister and Advisor to the CM, Nasir Aslam Wani, in facilitating this vital initiative. Their efforts have been instrumental in garnering support for the tourism trade, a sector that is vital for J&K’s economy.
“All tourism stakeholders who are set to participate in OTM are advised to arrive in Mumbai by Thursday to ensure their presence at this major industry event.
