Kayaking Championship trials announced in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 25: The J&K Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing Association has called for selection trials to determine the state team for the 35th National Canoe-Sprint Championship for Senior Men and Women.

A statement said that aspiring kayakers and canoeists will have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the state team during trials scheduled for November 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM. The venue will be the Pokhribal Water Sports Club, located near Badamwari Kathi Darwaza in Srinagar.

The national championship, set to take place from December 10-15, in Uttarakhand, represents a significant opportunity for athletes to showcase their skills at the national level.

Interested participants must complete registration with the J&K Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing Association by November 25. Candidates are required to register at the Pokhribal Water Sports Club and must bring their Aadhar Card, date of birth certificate, and a passport-size photograph.
