Kashmir’s Sajid Dar invited by FIFA for Global Coaching Development Programme in Indonesia
Srinagar, Oct 17: Sajid Yousuf Dar, an international football coach and coach educator from Kashmir, has been invited by FIFA to participate in its Coach Educators’ Development Pathway Program scheduled in Jakarta, Indonesia, from October 21 to 24.
Speaking about the opportunity, Dar, in a statement issued on Friday, expressed his gratitude to FIFA and AIFF for the recognition and reaffirmed his dedication to contributing to the growth of football education and coaching standards in India.
This participation marks another milestone for Indian football coaching, showcasing the nation’s growing presence in global football development initiatives.
Sajid, who is working as a football coach at the University of Kashmir, thanked the vice chancellor and registrar for allowing him to attend the prestigious programme. Other participants who will be part of the programme are Vivek Nagul, Head of Coach Education AIFF; Mariano Dias, Caetano Pinho; Shekhar, from Goa, Shakti Chauhan, from Gujarat, and Tulasi, from Tamil Nadu.
