Srinagar, June 26: A Kashmiri student, Umar Masoodi, has been selected for the prestigious Lucerne Academy Program in Switzerland. Masoodi, a law student at the University of Kashmir and the state spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has been chosen for this program, which is set to commence on July 1, 2024, at the University of Lucerne.

He has been part of the Association (JKSA) for the past three years, serving the organization in various capacities and steadily rose through the ranks. The program offers an intensive curriculum featuring seven courses and various seminars led by distinguished professors and practitioners. Notably, he is the only student selected from India for this program.
