‘Kashmiri e-dictionary' launch function organised

Srinagar, July 19: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT)  today inaugurated the "Kashmiri E Dictionary" at a function held at the SCERT JK Divisional Office Kashmir in Bemina, Srinagar.

This landmark event signifies a major stride in preserving and promoting the Kashmiri language through digital innovation. The inauguration ceremony was led by Professor (Dr) Parikshat Singh Manhas, Director of SCERT JK. In his address, Professor Manhas lauded the collaborative efforts of the Department of Education in Languages and the Department of Education in Communication Technology and Computer Science, which jointly developed the e-dictionary. He emphasised that such initiatives are crucial in the digital age for preserving linguistic heritage and enhancing educational resources.
