Kashmir Writers' Association feted for literary contribution
Kupwara, Feb 25: Adara Tahqeeq-o-Adab, a leading literary group, recently hosted an exciting event to honor the Kashmir Writers' Association for their outstanding work on their latest project, "The North Kashmir Gazette."
This magazine, curated by local writers, shines a spotlight on the hidden treasures of north Kashmir, inviting readers to explore its untouched beauty and unique attractions.
The event saw the participation of esteemed literary figures such as Farooq Shaheen, President of Adara Tahqeeq-o-Adab, besides other renowned poets, intellectuals, scholars and writers attended the discussion on north Kashmir. The highlight was the official unveiling of "The North Kashmir Gazette" by the Governor at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar, on January 16.
In addition to celebrating literary achievements, the gathering provided a platform to discuss ideas for promoting tourism and economic growth in the region, while also emphasising the need to protect north Kashmir's delicate environment from harm. Established in 2021, the Kashmir Writers' Association, recognised by the government, is dedicated to empowering young talent and sharing meaningful content through social media platforms.
