Kashmir snowboarder to represent India at FIS world cup in China

Srinagar, Dec 05: In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, as Zubair Ahmad, snowboard alpine skier from Tangmarg of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, is all set to represent India at the prestigious FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup in China.

Zubair will compete against the world’s top 100 snowboard alpine athletes, marking his first-ever appearance at the World Cup level as selection is a testament to his dedication, technical skill, aspiring athletes across Jammu and Kashmir.

Born in Tangmarg, earned his school from nearby school, Zubair’s journey has been shaped by years of hard work, discipline, and unwavering determination.
