Kashmir likely to witness light snowfall from Dec 13-15: Weatherman
Srinagar, Dec 08: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days. However, there is a possibility of light snowfall in the higher reaches of north Kashmir and central Kashmir from 13 to 15 December, an MeT spokesperson said in a weather forecast on Monday.
In the weather forecast, the MeT predicted “partly cloudy” weather on December 8, and on the following day, the MeT said, the weather will remain generally cloudy in J&K.
From December 10–12, no major activity is expected, and the weather will remain partly cloudy.
However, in a forecast, an MeT spokesperson said that weather activity is likely to change in the Valley. He said the higher reaches of north Kashmir and central Kashmir will witness light snowfall from 13 to 15 December.
The weather will turn partly cloudy on 16 December and will remain so for the next three days, till 18 December.
Further, the forecast says that from 19–21 December, J&K will experience mixed weather activity. The weather is predicted to remain cloudy, with the possibility of light snowfall at a few higher reaches.
