Srinagar, Sep 14: The Kashmir Cup Season 2, organised by Dalgate Sports Club, concluded at the TRC Ground with Dadoo Rangers emerging as champions. Seven franchise teams from across Kashmir participated in the tournament, which followed the Indian Premier League (IPL) format.

Dignitaries present at the closing ceremony included Parvaiz Qaiser, Ex-Ranji Player; Emraan Bhat and Shah Javaid, Organisers; Syed Ajaz Kashani; Dr Touseef Ahmed, Patron and Mentor of Dalgate Sports Club; and members of Dalgate Sports Club.

Dr Touseef Ahmed emphasised the importance of promoting sports to curb the growing drug menace in society. "Through initiatives like the Kashmir Cup, we aim to provide a platform for youth to channel their energy into positive and healthy pursuits," he stated.

The tournament featured 7 teams competing in 22 matches over 15 days, with over 100 talented cricketers from across Kashmir participating. Dadoo Rangers won the championship, defeating Valley Fresh in the final.
