Karra interacts with Congress workers in Rajouri district

Rajouri, Nov 27: JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra today interacted with party workers during series of meetings in Rajouri district.

According to a press release, he met the workers at Shahdra Sharif, Thannamandi, and Sunderbani while concluding his two day tour of Rajouri district .

Karra paid obeisance at Shahdra Sharif holy shrine and prayed for peace, harmony and brotherhood in the society.

He interacted with people and workers at various places and listened to their views .”The people expressed satisfaction over the holding of assembly elections after 10 years and formation of coalition government but expressed concern over delay in the restoration of statehood as a result the elected government is without sufficient powers. The people are eagerly waiting for the restoration of full statehood for redressal of their grievances especially unprecedented unemployment and huge taxations,” the press release said.

The workers assured full support to the PCC Chief to revamp and re-organise as well as re- structuring of the party at grass roots level to strengthen the party. They told him that they are committed to the ideology of the party and will defeat the designs of communal and divisive forces.

Karra interacted with the senior functionaries of party, block presidents and other prominent leaders and workers including PRIs and assured them to give chance to the young leaders and women at different levels in the party.

He asked them to prepare for a full fledged struggle to get the status of full fledged statehood and for safeguarding the rights to land, jobs and natural resources for the people. Karra was accompanied by the senior Congress leaders of district Rajouri.
