Karl Marx wasn’t mad
Isn’t it bizarre that to live your life, you have to mingle days and nights working hard to justify your presence here, and on the other end of the spectrum, you have people who flow with life like a waterfall? Isn’t it common that, in this world, nothing is appreciated except for an ostentatious display of your wealth or a few foolish reels on Instagram? Could we take a look around and see for ourselves how much pain this world exudes?
‘You have to work hard to get what you want,’ this clichéd catchphrase on the tips of many people’s tongues, although practical and just, adds nothing to the miserable lives of the unprivileged: It’s like a strong saline drop falling onto your wound through the bandage. Even though it is encouraging, it hurts. Period. Sitting comfortably, we have no right to send unhelpful, discouraging rockets to people whose receptive bases are fragile. It bursts. Sometimes smashing hearts to smithereens. Sometimes driving the soul into immobility: frozen.
Friends, what do we expect from aspiring people longing for amenities that the privileged class doesn’t even care about? One can’t help cursing this world for its unjust arrangements. And when it comes to the practicality of their supposed I-wish-you-you-succeed blessings, one realizes that theirs are words only, nothing beyond. Karl Marx wasn’t mad.
Shifting our focus to yet another grave matter and adding insanity to it, it takes not even a fortnight in this mad society to gain riches; you are normal or otherwise; it doesn’t count; all you have to do is act stark mad, and the next day you will see yourself bestowed with facilities and delicacies. In case you wonder about it, Instagram is there to bear my statement out. And when someone, suffering under the weight of numerous grave issues and struggling to obtain what the half-witted have at their disposal, encounters it, it pinches deep into the heart. It rips you apart and compels you to consider taking refuge in the woods. But who will listen to my screed?
Almighty knows how many innocent lives, suffering and struggling, get even more pained here on account of the inspiring theoretical remarks that the privileged class sprinkle around while giving no damn about anything at all. Our relishing in Instagram reels should not outweigh real, pathetic lives.
