Kargil’s well known cleric Sheikh Musa Mirzai passes away
Srinagar, June 01: Sheikh Mussa Mirzai Stakpa, a seasoned teacher and cleric, passed away today at 4 am at his residence in Titichumik after a month-long ailment. He had been admitted to the District Hospital Kargil during his illness.
Sheikh Mussa dedicated over two decades to teaching at Mutahhary Public Schools: the Primary Department Kargil, High Department Kurbathang, and MPS Baroo. Throughout his career, he nurtured hundreds of young minds in moral, ethical, and religious education.
He was also a member of the Baseej-e-Rouhanion wing of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust. Although originally from Stakpa, Sheikh Mussa spent his entire life at his residence in Titichumik.
“Sheikh Mussa Mirzai was a seasoned preacher of the Islamic Revolution and a true follower of the Wilayat-e-Faqih,” said Guardian Council member, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai.
The mortal remains of Sheikh Mussa have been carried to his domicile village, Stakpa, where his last rituals will be performed.
