New Delhi, May 16: Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal emerged victorious in the election for the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Sibal garnered 1066 votes, surpassing his closest rival, Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai, who received 689 votes.

The incumbent President, Senior Advocate Dr. Adish C Aggarwala, secured 296 votes (figures are tentative). Other contenders included Priya Hingorani, Tripurari Ray, and Neeraj Srivastava. This marks Sibal’s fourth term as the President of SCBA, reported Live Law.
Prior to that, he served as President during the 1995-96 and 1997-98 terms.
