Kangan-Naranag road in dilapidated condition
The road connecting the famous tourist resort Naranag with the national highway in the Kangan area of Ganderbal district is in shambles, causing inconvenience to locals, particularly commuters traveling on this route. Residents say that the road from Kangan to the renowned tourist destination Naranag is in dilapidated condition. It is dotted with potholes and has not been macadamised for several years. Commuters traveling on this road have complained about the hardships they face. "The road is in bad condition," a local resident said, adding that patients traveling on it often develop complications.
They expressed frustration that the concerned authorities have failed to macadamise the link road, which has been in poor condition for several years. This road from the national highway also leads to the health resort Naranag via Wangath. Residents have urged the government to address their concerns.
