Kangan cloudburst: MP Aga Ruhullah urges admin to provide relief to affected

Srinagar, Aug 04: Member Parliament Aga Ruhullah urged district administration Ganderbal to provide help and relief to those affected by cloudburst which hit several areas of Kangan on Sunday morning.

Taking to micro-blogging site X MP Aga Ruhullah said: "As I am heading back to Delhi to attend the Parliament session resuming tomorrow. I heard the unfortunate news about the cloud burst that has hit many areas in Kangan Gandarbal. It has caused a huge damage to the livelihood of people in the area. I urge the district administration of Gandarbal to take immediate measures to provide help and relief to those affected".

Earlier Srinagar-Leh highway was closed after mudslides, triggered by cloudburst, near Cherwan Padabal area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.
