Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2025 opens for applications
New Delhi, Apr 26: The Ministry of External Affairs has announced that the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2025 will be held between June and August next year. Applications for the pilgrimage are now open on the official website, kmy.gov.in.
This year’s yatra will see five batches of 50 pilgrims each travelling via Uttarakhand’s Lipulekh Pass, and ten batches of 50 pilgrims each crossing through Nathu La Pass in Sikkim. Pilgrims will be selected through a computer-generated, random, and gender-balanced process.
Since 2015, the application and selection process for the Yatra has been fully digitized. Applicants have been advised not to send physical letters or faxes seeking information. Instead, they are encouraged to use the feedback options available on the website to make inquiries, register feedback, or suggest improvements.
