Justice Sharma visits district court complex Budgam

Srinagar, Nov 4: Justice Sindhu Sharma who is administrative Judge for district Budgam, on Saturday inspected district court complex and directed all the judicial officers for early disposal of cases of both civil and criminal.

During her visit to the Court complex, Justice Sharma, accompanied by Registrar General, Shahzad Azeem, was received by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Budgam Khalil Ahmed Choudhary. According to a statement issued by the office of District and Sessions Judge Budgam, Justice Sharma interacted with the judicial officers posted at District headquarters, Budgam and gave a patient hearing to all judicial officers viz-a-viz infrastructure and other issues faced by them in their respective courts. While Justice Sharma directed all the judicial officers for early disposal of cases both civil and criminal, she instructed the judicial officers that old cases pending for more than 10 years shall be listed twice a month and under trial cases twice a month.
