Justice Rahul Bharti nominated as vacation Judge for Srinagar wing

Srinagar, Dec 29: In partial modification of an earlier order, Chief Justice of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh Monday nominated Justice Rahul Bharti as the Vacation Judge for Srinagar Wing of the High Court from January 19 to 24, 2026 instead of Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, said an order issued by Registrar General, M K Sharma.

In a notification issued on December 18, the High Court announced its winter vacation and would observe the same from January 1 to 24, 2026.

For the Srinagar wing, Justice Shahzad Azeem as vacation judge will hear the urgent matters from January 12 to January 17 and now Justice Rahul Bharti will hear the matters from January 19 to January 24, instead of Justice Muhammad Yousuf Wani, who had been nominated earlier.
