Jumat-ul-Vida observed with religious fervour across Chenab Valley

Ramban, Apr 5: Jumat-ul–Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan was observed across the three districts Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts.

Friday congregational prayers were held in the mosques and shrines. Reportedly the biggest Friday congregations were witnessed in the grand mosques of Doda, Bhaderwah, Kishtwar, Banihal, Ramban Ramsu, Gool, Batote and other towns.

Prayer leaders in their sermons, prayed for the well-being and happiness of the Muslim Umah living in the world.

They also felicitated Muslim Ummah on the occasion in their sermons. They impressed upon Muslims that the holy month of Ramadhan is drawing to a close and they need to do as much charity as possible in the last days of this month.
