Leh, Nov 07: The Judicial Inquiry Committee probing the September 24 Leh violence has renewed its appeal to the public to provide any evidence that could help in establishing the facts surrounding the case.

Officials from the committee said that despite previous public notices, no statements, documents, audio or video recordings, or any other form of evidence have been submitted by individuals so far.

Emphasizing the importance of public participation, the committee stated that cooperation from locals is vital to ensure a transparent and credible investigation. It urged anyone possessing reliable information or material evidence related to the incident to come forward at the earliest and assist in the ongoing inquiry.

The committee assured that all submissions will be handled with confidentiality and in accordance with legal procedures. It reiterated its commitment to uncovering the truth behind the September 24 violence and ensuring accountability through due process.
