JTGC hosts Junior Golf Cup 2024

Jammu, Aug 3: The Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC) organised the Junior Golf Cup 2024 at its Sidhra facility, aiming to promote golf among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

Manav Gupta, Secretary of JTGC, inaugurated the event by teeing off the first ball.

The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from young golfers including Arinn Satya Gupta, Bakhtawar, Avinash, Wadana, Rayan Satya Gupta, Atharv Rishi, Adhyan Gujjral, Arhana, Arindham Sudan, Hisham Baba, Teijal, R.S Gupta, and Tehleel Ahmed.

Master Arindham Sudan emerged as the overall winner, with Master Rayan Satya Gupta and Master Bakhtawar securing the first and second runner-up positions respectively. Other notable achievements included Master Adhyan Gujral winning the straight drive award (1 feet 1 inch) and the longest drive award (190 meters), while Master Adharav Rishi claimed the nearest to the pin at Hole 2.

The tournament also recognised Master Bakhtawar, Master Arrin Satya Gupta, Master Arindham Sudan, and Master R.S Gupta as the best performers in their respective four-ball groups.
