Journalist Azhar Rafiqi bereaved, mother passes away

Srinagar, Dec 18: The mother of renowned journalist and spokesperson of Anjuman Urdu Sahafat, Azhar Rafiqi, passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness.

She was laid to rest in Machhwa Kralpora graveyard amidst a large gathering of mourners.

The funeral prayers were offered at Lal Nagar Chanapora, which was attended by prominent figures from various sections of the society, including politicians, academicians, journalists, literary figures, businessmen and representatives of welfare associations.
