JNV Budgam hosts alumni meet 2025

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Budgam reverberated with nostalgia and inspiration as it hosted its annual Alumni Meet 2025 last week.

The event witnessed a heartwarming congregation of alumni from diverse batches, who returned to their alma mater to reconnect and guide the current generation of students.

Principal of JNV Budgam Devender Kumar Singh welcomed the alumni while acknowledging their journey from the school’s corridors to achieving remarkable heights in various professional fields across the nation.

Singh emphasised the invaluable role of the alumni community as pillars of the institution.

“Our alumni are the living testament to the values and education imparted at Navodaya Vidyalayas,” he said.

He urged them to actively engage with the current pupil by sharing their thoughts, life experiences, and, most importantly, their success stories.

"The real-life narratives serve as the most powerful source of motivation and encouragement for students, providing them with tangible role models and a clear vision for their future endeavours," he said.

Alumni shared fond anecdotes of their time at JNV Budgam ,from academic pursuits and residential life to sports, cultural events, and the unique bonds forged in the serene campus of Budgam.

The alumni from various fields detailed their professional journeys and attributed it to the disciplined environment, holistic education, leadership opportunities, and the nurturing mentorship at JNV Budgam.

“This meet is a bridge between our past and the future of JNV Budgam. It is our privilege to give back and inspire the students who walk the same paths we once did," the alumni said.
