JMC plans several activities on World Environment Day

Jammu, May 28; The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is set to celebrate World Environment Day on June 5, with a range of events and activities planned throughout the city. Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav informed that the corporation is working diligently to ensure city-wide participation in this environmental initiative.

This year’s theme focuses on controlling plastic pollution and preventing it from entering water bodies like taps and rivers.

Special emphasis is being laid on raising awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste and encouraging citizens not to dispose of garbage in drains.
