JKSA revamps organisational structure

Srinagar, Jul 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) concluded a three-day electoral process to revamp its national executive body along with global, state, and regional leadership structures.

According to a press  release, at the national level, Mushtaq Habeeb has been elected as Chairperson, with Nasir Khuehami re-elected as National Convenor for a third consecutive term, and Dawood Peer elected as Co-National Convenor.

Ummar Jamal has been elected National President, while Sheikh Azhar will serve as National Vice President and also coordinate international affairs in the Gulf region. Aadil Bhat has been elected General Secretary (Organizational Affairs) and will also serve on the Advisory Board. Dr. Zubair Reshi has been elected as National Spokesperson, alongside Manzoor Ahmad as National Organizing Secretary. Media outreach will be led by Krishna Sapru, who will also head the Kashmiri Pandits Wing, and Mir Zubair, who will oversee the Jamia Millia Islamia Unit.
