JKSA delegation calls on DC Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 24: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), led by its National Convenor Nasir Khuehami, called on Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo (IAS), today and raised several pressing concerns related to the student community, particularly those pursuing education within the Union Territory.

During the meeting, Khuehami provided a detailed overview of JKSA’s role as one of the most active and credible student bodies, working both across India and internationally to represent and support students from Jammu and Kashmir.

He highlighted the association’s continued efforts in advocating for student rights, facilitating scholarships, providing emergency aid, extending logistical support during crises, and assisting students in distress across various states. He also spoke about the association’s coordination with government institutions to address student-related issues.
