JKPECC seeks resolution of issues
Srinagar, Nov 9: Jammu and Kashmir Power Employees Coordination Committee (JKPECC) has sought resolution of issues confronting PDD employees.
In a statement the JKPECC said, “ Employees work in the field and sacrifice their comfort, work all day and night for the accumulation of the power fee, and give their everything in making this corporation productive and vigorous, but have not been given any promotion from the past 20 years.”
The statement added despite these employees being considered as the multi-tasking workers “when these employees demand the promotion they are completely ignored. On the other hand the engineers, whose performances are nothing are accorded with the back to back promotions.”
They asked the Chief Minister and the Principal Secretary PDD to look into these issues
The JKPECC urged the authorities to settle the issues of executive staff well in time, otherwise they will start their strong agitation within 10 days.
Among the core issues they sought the redressal of are:
4Rebundling of PDD
4Restoration of Welfare Fund
4Settlement of SRO 43 cases.
