JKEDI concludes 3rd batch of MSME Management Development Programme
Udhampur, Sep 29: The J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Udhampur, successfully concluded the third batch of its Management Development Programme under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme.
Twenty existing entrepreneurs participated in the 30-hour training module, which included classroom sessions, field visits, and interactions with domain experts. The curriculum focused on enhancing managerial, financial, and strategic skills, covering business planning, marketing strategies, digital tools, financial literacy, regulatory compliance, innovation, and leadership development. Participants also benefited from mentorship sessions, case studies, and hands-on workshops designed to provide practical knowledge for scaling ventures and building sustainable enterprises.
The initiative is part of the Government of India’s RAMP programme, funded by the Ministry of MSME and implemented in Jammu and Kashmir by the Industries and Commerce Department, aiming to strengthen the MSME ecosystem across the region.
The valediction ceremony was attended by Deputy Director Employment Udhampur Mohinder Kumar Sharma, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Yash Paul Sharma, and officials from various line departments. They lauded the participants for their enthusiasm and reaffirmed JKEDI’s commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship in the Union Territory.
