JKCSF, JKPUF demand justice for workers

Srinagar, May 1: Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and Jammu and  Kashmir Pensioners United Front (JKPUF), Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani,  has demanded justice for exploited workers.

In a statement, he expressed  deep anguish over the persistent exploitation and neglect of workers across J&K.

Wani added that it is unfortunate that the Minimum Wages Act remains largely unimplemented. He alleged that contingent-paid employees earning less than Rs 1,000 per month and highly qualified private school teachers denied fair salaries.
