JKCSF concerned over rising crime rate

Srinagar, Apr 15: Chairman J&K Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) Abdul Qayoom Wani has urged the people from different walks of life including  religious leaders to help in solving the rising crime incidents.

In a statement, he expressed shock over the alleged murder of a woman by her son in Sopore. “It is very unfortunate that society is now becoming immune to these murders where son kills mother, father kills daughter, sons kill father and so on,” he said.

Wani urged the society to take these incidents seriously and ensure the  rising crime rate comes down. Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum has decided to meet top level scholars to discuss with them some strategy to train imams and khateebs how to make effective welfare speeches that can inculcate indepth moral behavior in youth and bring them back on track.

JKCSF has also appealed police and other controlling agencies to take strict action against those involved in such crime incidents.
