JKCSF concerned over ‘Illegal commercial construction’

Srinagar, Aug 04: Raising an alarm over the alleged " illegal" constructions in the Srinagar City, Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society (JKCSF) has decided to launch a pan city movement against the violation of master plan and rampant " illegal" constructions particularly the commercial complexes.

In a statement , the JKCSF Spokesman said that, it's Chairman Abdul  Qayoom Wani has filed an RTI in SMC seeking details of " illegal" Construction of Commercial complexes and the violation of Building Permissions. Wani has sought details of commercial complexes which have been  completed or are currently under-construction on either side of airport road  after seeking inputs from the locals of the area. He said that inputs from the locals suggest that scores of multiple storied commercial complexes are being raised in violation of master plan and without proper or on " fake"  building  permission  from SMC.
