JKCSF chairman Qayoom Wani expresses grief over demise of M Shafi Pandith

Srinagar, Sep 19: Jammu & Kashmir Civil Society Forum Chairman, Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed grief over sad demise of first IAS officer of J&K, and Ladakh Mohammad Shafi Pandith, who breathed his last today morning.

In his condolence message, Wani said the deceased was a great administrator and has contributed to the society in different capacities as bureaucrat, civil society leader and great son of the soil.

Terming his death “a great loss for entire society”, Wani said the contribution of the deceased will be remembered for ever. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
