J&K Waqf Board notifies Eid prayer timings in Jammu
Jammu, Jun 3: Administrator and Executive Officer, J&K Waqf Board, Jammu has notified the timings of prayers to be offered on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, falling on June 7, 2025, in different Eidgahs and Masjids in Jammu. As per notice about Eid Namaz timings in Jammu issued by Administrator and Executive Officer, J&K Waqf Board, Jammu Abid Hussain, at Markazi Eidgah Residency Road, the prayers will be offered at 7.30 am.
Same time, prayers will be offered at Eidgah, Sidhra; Eidgah Firdousabad Sunjwan; Eidgah Janipur; Jamia Masjid Lakhdatta Bazar and Jamia Masjid Kunjwani.
Timing for Eid prayers at Eidgah at Digiana; Jamia Masjid Mohalla Ustad; Jamia Masjid Karyani Talab, Narwal Bala; Makkah Masjid Bhatindi and Jamia Masjid Narwal Pain will be 7 am.
At 6.45 am, Eid prayers will be offered at Eidgah at Malik Market while 8.30 am will be the timing for offering Eid prayers at Jamia Masjid, Talab Khatikan. Timing for Eid prayers at Jamia Masjid Umar, Railway Station and Jamia Masjid Pul Tawi will be 8 am.
Eid prayers will be offered at 7.15 am at Jamia Masjid Noor, Police Lines Chhanni; at 6.15 am at Jamia Masjid Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar and Jamia Masjid Gandhi Nagar Police Lines and at 6.30 am at Madina Masjid Bhatindi.
Timing for prayers at Anjuman Hayderi, New Plot will be 9.30 am while Eid prayers will be offered at 9 am at Karbala Complex, Anjuman-e-Imamia and Anjuman-e-Hussaini, Bhatindi.
All the Namazis have been instructed to reach their respective Eidgahs well in advance; refrain from bringing with them mobile phones, lighters, cigarettes and other tobacco products for security reasons. They have also been requested to bring them with their own Mussalla particularly in Eidgahs to avoid inconvenience. It has been notified that in case of rain, the Eid Namaz will be offered in respective Jamia Masjids of the area and the timings will be announced by the concerned Imam of the Masjid Sharief.
