J&K Throwball Association hosts coaching camp, championship 2024

Srinagar, Aug 28: The Jammu and Kashmir Throwball Association, in partnership with the Nodal Officer SVEEP for the Khanyar Assembly Constituency, organised the Throwball Coaching Camp cum Championship 2024 at GHSS Khanyar. Students from various schools participated in the event.

The camp aimed to raise awareness among athletes, empowering them to serve as ambassadors in their communities and schools to encourage maximum voter participation in the upcoming elections.

RP School Lawaypora emerged as the Overall Champions, with Legends School securing 2nd place and Sheikh Ul Alam Model High School taking 3rd place.

Nodal Officer SVEEP Khanyar, Sheikh Waheeda, emphasised the significance of voting in a democracy. She urged the athletes to spread this message to ensure a high voter turnout on 25 September

The President of the J&K Throwball Association extended a vote of thanks to GHSS Khanyar, the participants, and the schools for their valuable contributions.
