J&K Sub-Junior Rollball teams selected for Nationals

Srinagar, Apr 21: Sports Council Screening Committee, headed by Baljinder Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, and assisted by Suraj Bhan, Manager, Indoor Complex, and Joginder Singh, has cleared a 28-member Sub-Junior Rollball team (both boys and girls) to participate in the 16th Sub-Junior Rollball National Championship being held in Dehradun, Uttrakhand, from April 25 to 28.

A statement said that the final selection of the team was made on March 30 after which the players underwent a mandatory training camp starting April 5, under the supervision of Madhu Sharma, assisted by Sameer Gupta, Manvijay Singh Slathia, and Ankush Soni.

The team comprises players boys: Samuel Khokhar (Captain), Bhavyansh Sharma, Sarthak Dubey, Anant Aadhar Badyal, Zehraan Talib, Medhansh Singh ,Tanish Kumar, Arnav Parihar, Aarav Singh, Astitva Choudhary, Mohd. Daiyan Bagdadi , Omaik Showkat Bagdadi

Girls: Ishani Soni (Captain), Ishanvi Soni, Aadhya Singh, Urwah Sajad, Aditi Dogra, Sakshi Sharma, Dhwani Nanda, Bhumika Dogra, Mannat Sangral, Arushma Mir, Qurat Yaseen, Barira Showkat.

Coaching Staff: Manvijay Singh (Coach - Boys), Ankush Soni (Coach - Girls), Sameer Gupta (Manager - Boys), Arti Soni (Manager - Girls).

The J&K Sub-Junior Rollball team will be vying for top honors at the prestigious national championship, scheduled to take place in Dehradun later this month.
