J&K Sports Council Cricket Academy wins inter-school T20 tournament

Srinagar, May 12: The J&K Sports Council Cricket Academy emerged as champions of the Inter-School T20 Cricket Tournament held at Sheikhpora, Budgam, clinching a thrilling 6-run victory over ARCC Cricket Club in the final match.

In a statement issued, the closely fought final witnessed high drama as ARCC Cricket Club fell short in their chase, with the academy bowlers holding their nerve in the final overs. Shariq Shafi delivered a match-winning performance with the ball, taking four crucial wickets and earning the Player of the Match award.

The tournament was organised by the Sheikh-ul-Aalam Sports Development Association, Sheikhpora, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from school-level cricket teams across the district.
