Srinagar, Apr 15: The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has brought immense pride to the nation by emerging as the overall second runner-up at the prestigious 67th SGFI National Roller Skating Championship held in Satna, Madhya Pradesh.

The young skating talents from JK UT showcased their exceptional skills and determination, securing a remarkable haul of 21 medals, including 9 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze.

The championship witnessed fierce competition among the best skaters from across the country, but the J&K contingent proved their mettle, leaving an indelible mark on the national stage.

Under-19 Boys: Ranveer Shan led the charge with his outstanding performance, clinching 1 gold and 2 silver medals. Rajveer Singh and Samarjot Singh added to the tally with 2 gold and 1 gold and 1 silver medal, respectively.

Under-19 Girls: Nivriti Sharma secured a well-deserved silver medal in her category.

Under-17 Boys: Udhay Narayan showcased his talent by winning 1 gold and 1 silver medal.

Under-11 Boys: Tabish Haider and Adwait Sharma both contributed with a bronze medal each to JK UT's impressive medal haul.
